About Merv Olds

I was born in Doha, Qatar and came to America when I was 3 years old. I grew up in the Silver Spring, MD area and then moved to Northern VA during my last years of high school. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing and Logistics from the Sun Devil university, Arizona State. I have lived in Arizona, California, Washington state, Colorado and back to VA after I got married and had our first child. My original passion was architecture, but didn’t like all the math classes I had to take to get that degree, so went into Purchasing! I ended up getting a job as a product manager in the telecommunication industry where I worked for over 15 years. The company I worked for ended up having layoffs where I was affected. This gave me the opportunity to finally do what I love doing…working with people and looking at the design of homes! When my husband and I started looking for our first home, I noted all the good points that our realtor helped us with and I vow I will do the same to help my customers. What you see is what you get with me as your realtor. I work hard for my clients and do what I can to get them the best deal possible and in the home of their dreams. I go over and above my line of duty with pleasure.
