About Brian Menish

While my natural talent as a fine artist directed much of my life, the passion I have for the art of matching the perfect homes with the needs of my clients is what brings me the greatest satisfaction.

I was born in Torrance, California and my family moved to Northern Virginia when I was five years old. After graduating from Herndon High School and a long recovery from a traumatic brain injury, I ventured out to explore the country, living in West Virginia, Colorado, and finally, back to California, where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of California-Fullerton. While in California I saw the value of real estate and purchased my first investment property in 2018, which successfully led to a growing portfolio of five properties in just three short years.

When my son was born in 2020, I decided to head back to Virginia. As a single father, I wanted to be closer to family and – after exploring many parts of the United States – to return to what I consider the best place to live and work. Inspired by my sister’s success in real estate, I brought my hands-on knowledge of successful investments and property management from California, received my Virginia real estate license, and joined the Pearson Smith team.
