About Eric Fortunato

Eric was born and raised in Queens, NY, and moved to Northern Virginia at age 16 with his parents and younger brother. After graduating from South Lakes High School, he went on to attend George Mason University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Eric began his professional career in banking, spending 19 years in the industry and holding Vice President roles at three different institutions. During that time, he also served on two boards of directors, further demonstrating his leadership and commitment to his field.

A natural connector, Eric enjoys networking and hosts his own event on the third Thursday of every month. If you stop by, there’s a good chance you’ll find him enjoying an Old Fashioned. He is also passionate about giving back and has volunteered for numerous community and charitable initiatives. Most notably, he worked with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help raise thousands of dollars—an effort close to his heart after losing his mother to leukemia.

Eric is driven to be his best in everything he does and genuinely enjoys helping others succeed. Outside of work, he’s a dedicated sports fan, cheering on the Denver Broncos and St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoys playing fantasy football and staying active through strength training.

Eric currently owns an investment property in Burke and a home in Stone Ridge, where he lives with his dog, Mojo.

Today, Eric brings his extensive financial background, negotiation experience, and people-first mindset into his career as a Realtor. Known for his energy, authenticity, and strong relationships, he is committed to guiding clients through every step of the process and delivering results they can feel confident about.
